The Holdens face major changes; Pamela questions her decision to marry into the Army; Roland must help a former patient; Frank remains overseas leaving Denise more time to question her marriage.

Joan and Roland make the realization how much parenthood has changed their lives as she returns to work. Meanwhile, Michael's new job seems to be working out fine; and Roxy's mother stops by,

Roxy's mom returns with a man in tow. Joan and Roland go out on a date night and decide to leave their daughter with Claudia Joy and Michael. As a way to keep her mind off of Chase, Pamela goes to work at the bar with Roxy.

The young wife of a blind man is befriended by Denise. Meanwhile, Joan and Roland are in search of a nanny, and Emmalin runs into Logan, her pen pal.

Roxy and the girls make Denise a list for a new start. Denise opens her own bank account in her own name, after saying goodbye to Frank before he redeploys for Iraq. Pamala's stalker gets even closer and she confronts him. Roland's mother comes to visit, at his dismay. Michael confronts Denise about his feelings over her relationship with Getti. Trevor and Roxy take therapy classes over Trevor's addiction.

Frank and Denise decide to try being separated in order to save their marriage, leading Frank to return to Iraq and Denise heads to a safe place. Meanwhile, Trevor is awarded a medal after his injury.

Roland discovers Trevor's addiction. An old friend visits the Holden's. Pamela's kids become prey for a stalker while at the playground. After saying an emotional farewell to their son, Denise and Frank discuss their relationship.

Claudia Joy's father pays her a visit. Roxy plans Joan's baby shower, which she can hardly wait to begin motherhood. A fan begins stalking Pamela.

An unexpected visit from her mom has Claudia Joy suspicious. Roland gives counseling to a teen who's father died in combat. Roxy panics before taking the GED examination.

Pregnancy complications has Joan confined to bed rest. Trevor learns he can no longer return to combat. Pamela and her new friend Brenda continue to bond. Frank notices a change in Denise.

A possible drug link between the military and Emmalin's high school is investigated by Michael. Meanwhile, Frank is on a two week leave causing Denise to reevaluate her relationship with Getty, and Trevor plans a luxurious surprise for Roxy, who's enrolled in Rolland's class to get her GED.

Roland must clear his name following being accused of doing something terribly wrong. Meanwhile, Pamela is surprised when Chase finds himself in hot water.

The gender of the Burton's baby is disclosed. Roxy decides she will reopen the bar under a new name. Meanwhile, Jeremy returns to the post, and Pamela and Chase attend a cookout with the other Delta Force families.

After being seen with Getti off base, Denise becomes the subject of rumors. Betty makes plans for a dream vacation after finding out her cancer is spreading. Roland gets parenting advice from Denise while spending time with her at the maternity ward.

Trevor is uncomfortable being touted as a hero. Meanwhile, Frank is concerned about Denise, and loves her new motorcycle, and the replacements have arrived for Joan's maternity leave.

Denise decides to continue to be more independent by learning to ride a motorcycle. Meanwhile, Joan decides to talk about her pregnancy.

Denise's latest patient leads her to think back about her life before she was married.

Joan must deal with her decision regarding her pregnancy as Roxy lets Betty move in after the bombing. Meanwhile, Pamela finds it hard to put up with Chase's secrets at work.

Everyone tries to get back to normal following the bombing of the Hump Bar.
